IBM Cell Processor Training

28 - 29 April 2009

Introduction

MR Kay Muller from IBM Dublin will be giving the training, which is intended to show how the unique aspects of the Cell processor can be programmed and used.

Participants are requested to bring laptop computers with wireless networking capability. We intend to use the Cell system installed in Daresbury Laboratory for the course, and we have 24 separate QS22 Cell processors in our system. The room itself holds up to 60 people so we are probably not short of space!

The event will take place in:

Tower Seminar Room
Science and Technology Facilities Council
Daresbury Science and Innovation Centre
Daresbury Laboratory
Warrington WA4 4AD
